Please join us on Thursday,
April 18th from 10 am – 11 am in 132 Fluor Daniel for an
overview of the mandatory NIH Public Access Policy and transition to
the Research
Performance Progress Report (RPPR) from the eSNAP and PHS 2590 forms.
In this session, you will learn:
·
The major differences
between the RPPR and the eSNAP module;
·
How to complete
the RPPR;
·
What the NIH Public
Access Policy is;
·
How to enter your
publications into MyNCBI to comply with the Public Access Policy
The RPPR is required for all
non-competing continuation projects with start dates of July 1, 2013
or beyond. As such, the first RPPR required use will be May 15,
2013 for SNAP awards with a July 1 project start date and May 1,
2013, for Fellowships.
This session is particularly important for investigators who are
currently receiving NIH funding. NIH will withhold funding from
all non-competing continuation awards for those investigators who are
not in compliance with the Public Access Policy.
Panel members from the
Office of the Vice President of Research, the Office of Sponsored
Programs, Clemson University Library and Grants and Contracts
Administration will be presenting, and available for questions on the
new regulations.
