	Greek Spring Olympics		Spring Registration Registration for the spring semester begins Nov. 5. Please check with your student to make sure they have met with an adviser. The schedules for advisers are often full during this time, so if your student has not taken this step yet, please encourage them to do so. 	Talk with your student		Coming Home Again Thanksgiving and the winter semester break will be here before you know it. Every time your student returns home, whether they are a first-year student or senior, you may notice some changes. Talk with your student about these changes to help support their growth and development. Thanksgiving is also the busiest travel time of the year in the United States, so start planning now for how you will get your student home. As you may already know, Clemson is easily reachable by train or plane. Make your reservations early! If you prefer driving, here are directions from several major cities.
	Clemson Resident Assistants		Student Leadership Opportunities Student leadership positions, such as Orientation Ambassadors (OA) and Resident Assistants (RA), provide a great opportunity for your student to gain critical thinking, communication and other necessary skills for the workplace. RA Paul Landeene said it best by saying, "Being an RA is not just a job to help get you through college, it is a unique opportunity to invest in the lives of residents." 	The NEW TigerOne Card		TigerOne Re-card Distribution The new TigerOne Card is scheduled to be distributed to campus Dec. 3–14, 2012, from 8 a.m.–6 p.m. in the Hendrix Student Center Ballroom. The new TigerOne Card will be activated for use on Wednesday, Dec. 19. On this date old TigerOne Cards will no longer work.
