Preparing For Move-In Day — Living on Campus Quick Reminders
Are you preparing for Move-In Day? Be sure to check out the Move-In Weekend tab on the University Housing & Dining website for reminders, including information about where to ship boxes, the Move-In Weekend schedule, parking and traffic plans, important dates, etc.

Information Reminders on Paying the Bill
The fall 2016 registered students' bill must be satisfied by the payment due date of Aug. 11, 2016. If you are a parent or legal guardian and need to be granted an authorized user to assist with paying the bill, be sure your student grants you access on their "My Bill" section in iROAR and adds you. Please visit our website for more information about payments, or email us.

Download the Kick-Off Clemson Schedule
The programs and events in Kick-Off Clemson are an integral part of a first-year student's transition to Clemson life and the Clemson Family. These activities and programs occur during their first week on campus to help them make academic and social connections, which will contribute to their success in college. At the heart of this program are Clemson's Core Values: Integrity, Honesty and Respect. To keep up with the Kick-Off Clemson events, encourage your student to download the Clemson Events app. Then select "Kick-Off Clemson 2016." The app is updated often to provide them with the most current information. Required components of CU 1000 are marked.

Fraternity and Sorority Recruitment Sign-Ups
If your student is still looking for a way to get involved on campus, it is not too late to join one of our 45 fraternities or sororities. Returning students make up approximately one third of the participants in fraternity and sorority recruitment. Students must go online to one of the organization councils' websites to register and pay their registration fee. Deadlines for registration and dates of recruitment vary by organization. For more information please visit our website or email greek@clemson.edu.

Part-Time Job Fair
On-campus and local off-campus employers will be on hand to discuss current and future part-time job opportunities. This fair is a quick and efficient way for students to get their résumé to local employers looking to hire Clemson students.

Mon, Aug. 22, 2016
2:30–4:30 p.m.
Almeda R. Jacks Ballrooms
Hendrix Student Center
Clemson University

Is Your Student Bringing a Car to Campus?
If your student is planning to bring a vehicle on campus throughout the year, be sure they purchase their parking permit.

Becoming Familiar with the Academic Calendar
Remind your student the importance of being familiar with the academic calendar. This will help your student with important dates such as add/drop dates, the last day to withdraw from a class or when midterm exams begin. It will also be helpful when having important conversations throughout the year with your student and when planning travel-home dates for breaks.

Purchase Your Athletic Tickets for the 2016–2017 Year
To purchase tickets to athletic events visit ClemsonTigers.com and click on "Tickets" on the top menu. You can also call 1-800-CLEMSON, or visit the Athletic Ticket Office at Memorial Stadium.

Guardian App
A great new Clemson tool for student safety is our Guardian App. This app has a variety of options including setting safety timers, connecting with Guardians (friends and family each user chooses as their contacts in case of emergency) and alerting emergency officials.
