Center for Flexible Packaging (CEFPACK) Real-Time Power and Intelligent Systems (RTPIS) Laboratory The Center for Flexible Packaging (CEFPACK) is an extension of the flexible packaging activities carried out by Clemson’s Department of Food Nutrition and Packaging Sciences. The Depart- ment, in collaboration with industrial members of the CEFPACK organization and other affiliated University organizations, conducts projects to further teaching, research and service. CEFPACK operates via a membership model in which any company or organization associated with the converting or packaging industries can become a member. Multi-User Analytical Laboratory (MUAL) and Metabolomics Core The Multi-User Analytical Laboratory (MUAL) and Metabolomics Core assists researchers undertaking complex analytical experiments in biology and related fields. This analytical core facility for the College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Life Sciences offers researchers a wealth of post-analysis services, including compound identification using in-house mass-spectral li braries, multivariate statistical analyses of com- plex data and metabolic pathway analysis. The RTPIS Laboratory is an ecosystem of four research, education, and innovation laboratories devoted to smart grid technologies: the Microgrid Lab, the Power Electronics Lab, the Real-time Grid Simulation Lab and the Situational Intelli- gence Lab.
