The Office of Inclusion and Equity The Office of Access and Equity coordinates the development of policy, procedures, programs and services related to equality of opportunity in employment, business access, admissions, retention, aca- demics, advancement and general treatment for faculty, staff, students and visitors. Council of Inclusion and Diversity Clemson’s Council of Inclusion and Diversity consists of more than 40 people representing faculty, staff and community leaders who examine and provide feedback on the University’s diversity initiatives. Harvey and Lucinda Gantt Multicultural Center The Harvey and Lucinda Gantt Multicultural Center is committed to creating diverse learning environments. The center provides university-wide cultural awareness programs ranging from the annu- al MLK Celebration to International Festival; facilitates intercultural competence workshops, including LGBTQ Ally Trainings, and assessments, utilizing the Intercultural Development Inventory; and adminis- ters campus climate survey reporting. – 33 –
