LGBTQ Resources The Harvey and Lucinda Gantt Multicultural Center provides a list of university, local and national resources for the LGBTQ+ community. These resources include on-campus events, non-gendered re- strooms, LGBTQ news sources and many more. Clemson TIGERS ADVANCE TIGERS ADVANCE , an acronym for Transforming the Institution through Gender Equity, Retention and Support, is a National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded program that seeks to reduce gender inequality and improve opportunities for all early and mid-career faculty at Clemson, both men and women. Inclusive of all science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines, TIGERS ADVANCE is the result of a comprehensive institutional assessment of the barriers that hinder the recruitment, advancement and retention of Clemson’s women and minority faculty members. Clemson’s Sexuality & Gender Alliance (C-SAGA) Clemson’s Sexuality & Gender Alliance (C-SAGA) is a group comprised of students, faculty and staff who have come together to share their support for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) community. SAGA’s primary goal is to create a stronger and more inclusive Clemson Family. Diversity Education and Training Diversity Education and Training prepares students, faculty and staff for success in a more diverse and global workforce through learning and development initiatives, including University firsts – an employee search advocate program and strategic excellence certification program. Clemson University Commissions Clemson University Commissions focus on six strategic emphasis areas: Accessibility, Black Faculty and Staff, Latinx Affairs, LGBTQ Affairs, Student Veteran Affairs and Women’s Issues. Strategic Diversity Leadership Strategic Diversity Leadership develops, implements and assesses strategic diversity and inclusion plans for each college, division and university commission. The Office of Hispanic Outreach The Office of Hispanic Outreach provides leadership and support to recruit, retain and foster a welcom-ing environment for Hispanic/Latino students, staff and faculty. Key initiatives include Familia Connec-tion, Hispanic Voices in Academia and community engagement.
