Spousal Hire/Dual Career Faculty Hiring The University recognizes that we often must recruit and retain professional couples. Perhaps you have a spouse or partner who would be seeking employment at Clemson or in the Clemson area as well. Two programs work in tandem to provide full family support for faculty. The Dual Career Faculty Hiring Program seeks to address the challenges of hiring and retaining faculty members and their partners. Departments supporting this program are eligible to receive a three-year cost sharing model. The Spousal Hire Program is a program sponsored by Human Resources at Clemson University. When a candidate is hired, HR can work with the new employee’s spouse or partner to provide introductions to the wide array of employers throughout the I-85 corridor.
