Campus Wellness/ Lactation Rooms The University provides clean, private spaces for nursing mothers to nurse or to express breast milk during work. Pregnant women and new parents covered under the State Health Plan have access to educational materials and counseling sessions conducted by nurses through the Maternity Management Program . Certain electric or manual breast pumps are available at no cost through this program. As a part of Clemson’s goal to provide its faculty, staff and students with work/life balance, the University created the Clemson Lactation Network to offer clean, private space for new mothers to nurse and/or express breast milk and flexible opportunities to do so during th work/school day. Fertility Services Eligible faculty have access to infertility treatments like intrauterine insemination (IUI), zygote or gamete introflexion transfer (ZIFT or GIFT) or in vitro fertilization (IVF). Benefit limits and exclusions apply. Adoption Assistance When eligible faculty provide proof of eligible ex- penses related to the adoption of a child, finan cial assistance is provided.
