Clemson Families,
As part of the University’s continuous efforts to improve quality services for students and promote operational efficiencies, some of our departments have been reorganized into the Finance and Operations Division. Since the reorganization was announced, we have focused on ensuring a seamless transition for staff members in the Clemson University Police Department, Fire/EMS, Business Continuity and Security Planning, Emergency Management, Municipal Court, Parking and Transportation Services, TigerOne Card Services and University Housing & Dining.
Key areas remaining under the umbrella of Student Affairs are:
Advocacy and Success
Campus Life
Campus Recreation
Center for Career and Professional Development
Community and Ethical Standards
Dean of Students
Fraternity and Sorority Life
Military and Veteran Engagement
Student Health Services
Student Transitions and Family Programs
These changes will strengthen the entire Clemson Experience for students and better align our collective resources. Student Affairs will continue with its mission of preparing and empowering students to make a difference as global citizens. Our organizational structure following this reorganization may look a little different, but we remain committed to our goal of providing significant, best-in-class support to our students and look forward to a wonderful academic year together. Go Tigers!
Sincerely,
Almeda Jacks Signature
