Greetings from the Vice President’s
office!
Final exams are a few days away and
the excitement of summer is near. It
has been a great academic year
together; thank you to each and
every one of you for creating a
campus culture that makes our
university and community proud!
We want you to enjoy the best
possible Clemson experience. This
year, we have seen countless
examples of student success, from
the classroom to athletics to
leadership opportunities and
philanthropic activities. The school
year began in August with Clemson
earning a No. 1
national
ranking from
The Princeton Review for students
who love their colleges. We ranked
among the top 10 in the nation
in four additional categories, a
testament to the university’s
wide-reaching impact.
Enhancing the campus environment
this year was the addition of
Douthit Hills, which added 1,600
beds, multiple dining locations, a
new bookstore and fitness center.
Intramural sports received a boost
with the addition of the Champions
Field at the
Snow
Family Outdoor Fitness and
Wellness
Center, and
soon we will welcome a new facility
for our outdoor recreation
program. Clemson is committed to
providing the very best venues to
support your success.
If you are on campus May 23, we
encourage you to attend the
groundbreaking ceremony for Samuel
J. Cadden
Chapel at 11
a.m. This project has been years in
the making and we are excited to
gather with friends and colleagues
to welcome this important addition
to Clemson.
The university is pleased to
announce extended hours for several
facilities on campus during the
final exam period. The image below
shows the hours available at each of
the specified facilities. Please pay
special attention to signage and
postings inside
each facility for further details.

On behalf of Student Affairs, we
wish you all the very best on final
exams. To those graduating in May
and August, we are grateful for your
contributions in making this the
nation’s best campus. To our
continuing students, we look forward
to welcoming
you back in August for the 2019-20
academic year.
Go Tigers!
